Manjunath did his bachelor’s in Chemistry from RIE, Mysore and holds a Master’s in Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India. He worked at NCBS-InStem, Bangalore for two years where he acquired skills in biochemistry and structural biology of cytoskeletal proteins. During this time he acquired some experience in single particle Cryo-EM. Manjunath is jointly affiliated with the Schur and Sixt groups where he aims to apply new techniques in Cryo-Electron Tomography to understand cell migration.
